This once outdated dark rustic dwelling from the 1990s has been masterfully transformed into an idyllic retreat designed for hosting and pampering guests, while offering a relaxed entertaining experience.
This project focuses on tasteful luxury, a high level of customization, and the ultimate goal of creating an elevated yet comfortable home. Drawing inspiration from California casual west coast interiors, the design exudes a bright, organic, and unfussy yet elevated vibe that seamlessly blends with its Texan surroundings.
In the primary living space, asymmetrical built-ins are crafted using a unique European plaster material, adding subtle texture and ambiance to the room. The bathroom suite incorporates this same material, evoking an organic luxe vibe that transports guests to a perpetual vacation state of mind. The wood clad ceiling beautifully compliments the subtle movement of the plaster walls.
The primary bedroom suite showcases a large custom platform bed and a beautiful eclectic gallery wall, radiating a sense of refined elegance and serenity. The kitchen, with its soft organic modern feel, spoils any cook who enters. Thoughtful details such as the beautiful spice drawer and delicate brass hardware make this space feel truly special.
